  Opportunities in Lower Providence
The Township created a Business Development Committee to work closely with developers, property/business owners and brokers in support of the business community.  Commerical real estate opportunities, compiled as of June 2010 for an Opportunity Tour hosted by the Township and the Montgomery County Chamber of Commerce, are listed below:

We recognize the business community's sense of urgency and the dollar value of time. It's our goal to streamline the planning and zoning process, not to impede it.  For permit and Subdivision and Land Development information, developers and business owners are encouraged to visit the following pages:

  Park Pointe at Lower Providence

The Business Development Committee crafted a master redevelopment plan for the business park, formerly known as the Valley Forge Corporate Center. The VFCC Redevelopment Master Plan was adopted by the Board of Supervisors in 2008. The plan outlined short-term and long-term implementation steps to enhance the center. In 2009, the Board adopted zoning changes recommended by the comittee. Key features:

  • Mixed use zoning overlay sectors
  • 90' building heights
  • Office technology campus sector
  • Land Use and Design Manual Standards
The zoning changes and the Redevelopment Master Plan are available on the VFCC Master Planning Project page.

  Ridge Pike Business District
The Ridge Pike corridor represents a gateway to the Township.  The Ridge Pike Business District was created with a nod toward the potential for redevelopment and growth within the corridor. The RPBD provides the opportunity for various development bonuses for commercial redevelopment along Ridge Pike.
We have created a page to keep residents and businesses informed of this ongoing planning project. Click here to read more.
