Submissions for the Design Challenge are begin accepted until May 7 - submissions can be dropped at the Township or emailed to ccoless@lowerprovidence.org and ddelamater@lowerprovidence.org.

The Reimagine Ridge Pike challenge is being sponsored by the Township's Comprehensive Planning Committee to help generate ideas and discussion regarding the planning process. A key component of developing a comprehensive plan includes soliciting input from the public to learn more about their interests and priorities for the future of Lower Providence. In its current state, it is hard for people to visualize how Ridge Pike could be an inviting and safe walkable shopping and dining area that draws residents to spend time.

This type of design challenge is often used by local governments to go beyond a typical presentation format to include a creative and interactive way to generate ideas and involve the community.  Participants are asked to create a conceptual vision of a Ridge Pike streetscape in the form of a Computer Aided Design (CAD), hand-drawn image, vision board or some other visual medium.

The target area can be any section of Ridge Pike between Trooper Road and Eagleville Road. Detailed Information is contained in the following documents:
