Redner’s Fresh Market Opens in Audubon Village Shopping Center

Lower Providence Supervisors at Redner's Audubon Fresh Market

Redner's One of Many Making the Move to Lower Providence

With the opening of its new Fresh Market on October 23 in the Audubon Village Shopping Center, Redner’s joins an impressive list of businesses who have located in Lower Providence Township over the past several months. The influx has resulted in the repurposing of long-vacant properties and the continued resurgence of the Park Pointe at Lower Providence business park.

In September alone, Providence Place at the Collegeville Inn Senior Living, Lidl Supermarket and CertaPro Painters’ national headquarters have held grand opening ceremonies. Others opening their doors recently include the John James Audubon Center’s new $12-million museum and education center, Assurance Software’s global headquarters, the international marketing firm Merkle Inc., and Brandywine Coach Works. Other ventures in or near the construction phase include a Tru by Hilton hotel, Evansburg Vineyards, Iroy Sports Fitness Center, Dunkin Donuts and Starbucks. New residential developments added to the Township are the Enclaves at Evansburg single-family homes and the Courts at Brynwood townhome community.

Lower Providence Township officials continue to encourage new business in under-used areas and the Township’s Business Development Committee is available to assist those with an interest in expanding or joining Lower Providence’s growing business community.

New Look for Redner’s
Redner’s Audubon store is the second location for Redner’s new Fresh Market model. In addition to being a full-service grocery store, it will offer services such as a beer & wine café; grab-and-go prepared meals; hand-crafted baked goods; and fresh cut produce. Customers also will be able to take advantage of a rewards program to redeem on a fuel purchase at the fuel kiosk located within the shopping center. At full operating conditions, the store will employ approximately 130 people in both full and part-time positions.
