(September 2, 2021) - Our hearts go out to all those who are dealing with catastrophic damage from yesterday’s storm. We are witnessing destruction unlike anything we’ve ever experienced. We are grateful that there have been no reported injuries.

The Township is continuing with damage assessment efforts but in many areas we won’t have an accurate assessment until the water recedes. We hope to provide an update by the end of the day tomorrow. We do know that cleanup and restoration will not be quick or easy.

If your property was damaged, you are asked to fill out a damage assessment form. Click here to access the form. Forms are also available at the Township Police Department. The data gathered from this form will be used to determine levels of damage throughout Montgomery County and are critical for recovery efforts.

We are so grateful to our police officers, firefighters, EMS, Emergency Management Personnel and Public Works crews who put themselves in harm’s way for others throughout the night and continue to deal with the storm’s impact.

As we deal with the aftermath, please do not drive around any road barriers or remove cones – you put yourself and others in real danger.

If you have an emergency call 911. For non-emergencies, call 610-635-3546.

Please continue to check our Facebook and website for further updates.
