Cancellation-Closing List
The health of our program participants, staff, and the well-being of the community is our top priority. In keeping with Gov. Wolf’s directives regarding the Coronavirus (COVID-19), the following are in effect:
As of 10/19/2020
- The Administration Building is opened to the public during normal business hours (M-F, 8:00 am - 4:30 pm). Masks are required to enter the building. The number of persons in the lobby at one time will be limited to two (non-family) to allow for social distancing.
- The Police Lobby is open.
- Whenever possible, contact staff via phone, 610-539-8020, and email. Department phone extensions and email information is listed on the Township website, lowerprovidence.org.
- A mailbox is available outside the Township Building for permit applications, payments, etc.
- 2020 Community Fall Festival cancelled.
- Playgrounds are open. Please wear a mask in the playground area.
- Pavilions are open for general use, no rentals at this time.
- Bathrooms are open – limited to one person at a time unless from the same household.
- Basketball courts are open. Ballfields/multipurpose fields are open to groups providing an approved mitigation plan.

- Tax Deadline Extensions
- Lower Providence Community Library is currently open for limited browsing and is conducting curbside pickup.
