Providence Place - 4000 Ridge Pike

Providence Place is a plan to convert the former Collegeville Inn property into a Life Care Facility for approximately 190 residents in 160 apartments.

The applicant has received plan approval from the Board of Supervisors. Providence Place did receive approval from FEMA for the conditional revison of the floodplain mapping on December 17, 2017. A Water Obstruction and Encroachment Permit was issued by PA DEP and the US Army Corps of Engineers on January 29, 2018. Building permits for new construction were issued January 29, 2018. Interior demolition and reconstruction work has begun at the beginning of February.   Providence Place and PennDOT continue to work on the Highway Occupancy Permit  necessary for occupancy.
