Sewer Authority

Please click here to read a letter from the Sewer Authority Board of Directors regarding a rate increase effective Jan. 1, 2019.

The Sewer Authority was established in 1962 to finance, construct, own and operate a sanitary sewage collection system and administer to the needs of the residents of the township regarding the disposal of sanitary sewage.

The Sewer Authority currently maintains approximately 100 miles of pipe and 18 pumping stations within the township. We transport on average 3 million gallons of sewage per day through the collection system to the treatment plant for treatment.

Chapter 117 of the Township Code pertains to sanitary sewer related issues and can be found by clicking here.
