Montgomery County SCORE

The Montgomery County SCORE Chapter (Service Corps of Retired Executives) assists small businesses & nonprofits to grow and prosper, offering free counseling, mentoring and online resources.  The chapter’s certified, volunteer members are experienced business professionals with diverse career and education backgrounds.  Most have started and grown their own successful businesses, some were corporate executives and managers, while others have experience with nonprofit organizations or government agencies.

Montgomery County Redevelopment Authority

The Authority’s principal purposes are assisting the County’s townships and boroughs in stimulating economic revitalization, with resultant improvements in employment, infrastructure, services, and tax ratables, and aiding in the provision of affordable housing. 

Montgomery County Chamber of Commerce

Serving over 1,700 members, the Montgomery County Chamber of Commerce is one of suburban Philadelphia’s largest business networks.

Montgomery County Office of Public Health - Permitting & Licensing

The office was formerly known as the Montgomery County Health Department. All food establishments located in Montgomery County must have a valid Montgomery County Office of Public Health (OPH) License to Operate a Food Service Establishment. Food establishments are facilities that store, serve and/or prepare food for public consumption; they include but may not be limited to restaurants, retail food stores, caterers, cafeterias, mobile food vendors, and non-profit charitable facilities.

Montgomery County Housing Rehabilitation Program

There is a need for general contractors to work on rehabilitation of housing. The program is managed by CGP&H, LLC.  The Montgomery County informational flyer can be viewed here. Contractors can apply online at hip.cgph.net.
