Yerkes Water Association Boil Water Advisory

The Department of Environmental Protection South East Regional (DEP/SERO) issued a boil water advisory for the Yerkes Water Association in Lower Providence Township. Yerkes Water Association detected chlorine residual was below the permitted minimum. The boil water advisory shall remain in effect until Yerkes Water Association has taken corrective actions and there two consecutive days of sampling are negative for total coliform bacteria with complaint chlorine residuals.
