2021 Summer Camp Update

February 24, 2021 - With summer approaching quickly, we are hopeful that we will be able to hold a modified Summer Camp this year. This year’s camp will be different and we ask for your patience and understanding. The Parks and Recreation Department is going back to the good old days and running camp “Old School” style. The children will enjoy many fun traditional activities including arts and crafts, organized games and special activities. Unlike past years, this year there will be no scheduled trips, and lunch/snacks will not be supplied by Lower Providence Township. Campers must provide their lunch, snack and drinks every day. The Lil Perks and C.I.T. programs are suspended for this year. Masks will be required, social distancing protocols will be followed and campers will not share supplies.

Registration will begin on March 1, 2021 for residents only, and on April 1, 2021 for non-residents. The camp will run Monday – Thursday, from 8 am- 4pm starting June 21st through July 29th, 2021. There will not be after care available. We will only have 60 openings for each location. The site locations are different this year due to remodeling projects at our usual locations.

Camp Perky sites:

Arrowhead Elementary and Woodland Elementary is for children 1st thru 4th grade.

Perkiomy Trailblazers site:

Arcola Intermediate School is for children 5th thru 8th grade.
