2022 Road Improvement Project Gets Underway

The Township’s road improvement program will include the milling and paving of 13 streets. The work, which is weather dependent, will start on Sunnyside Avenue / Fourth Street / Hillside Avenue, with milling scheduled to begin Sept. 1. Flaggers will be in place to direct vehicles in the work zone.

The contract for the 2022 project was awarded to Glasgow, Inc., the low bidder. The project was coordinated with the Township’s Sewer Authority to include additional roads where sewer lines had been replaced.

Included this year are: Alexandra Dr., Amy Dr., Baker St., Caswell Ave., Fourth St., Hillside Ave., Jamestown Cir., Jennifer Ln., Lexington Ln., Roanoke Cir., Summit Ave., Sunnyside Ave., Vincent Dr., and Walker Ln. 

It is anticipated that the work will be completed by mid-September.
