Eagleville Road Reopens

Road Open sign

The PennDOT project to rehabilitate the bridge carrying Eagleville Road over Eagleville Run is complete. The road is now open.

PennDOT’s contractor removed and reset the masonry arch barrel, walls and barrier; excavated and replaced the arch backfill with lightweight concrete; and replaced the concrete parapets with a stone masonry facing.

Built in 1935, the Eagleville Road bridge over Eagleville Run is a single-span stone masonry arch structure, and carries an average of 6,252 vehicles a day.
