PennDOT to Begin 422 Pavement, Bridge Project

The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today that construction will begin next week on a $6.9 million project to rehabilitate pavement along eastbound U.S. 422 between the Route 29/Phoenixville and Route 363/Trooper Road interchanges in Upper Providence and Lower Providence townships.
Most construction activities under this project will take place at night during off-peak travel times. Dependent on the operation, there may be some daytime traffic restrictions. Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work area because backups and delays may occur. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.
