Sewer Authority Replacement Project

Beginning Monday, Jan. 24, the Lower Providence Township Sewer Authority's project to replace sanitary sewer lines will continue on Second Street from Hillside Avenue to the dead end.

Please note, a section of Hillside Avenue at the intersection of Second Street will be closed to Hillside Avenue thru traffic for the day on Monday, January 24, 2022.

Construction will take place from 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM and during that time there can be NO PARKING IN THE STREET until the construction project is complete.

The Township Sewer Authority will be replacing a number of existing sanitary sewer lines throughout the Township in the coming months. The replacement work is anticipated to continue through February 2022.  

Included in the project are:

  • Amy Drive, Alexandra Drive, Jennifer Lane 
  • Second Street
  • Sunnyside Avenue
  • Section of Walker Lane from East Mount Kirk to Church Road including Jamestown & Roanoke Circle and nd section of Walker Lane from Church Road halfway to cul-de-sac
