Once again, Lower Providence Township residents will have the opportunity to learn first-hand about current and planned projects in the Township and goals for the future at an open house hosted by the Supervisors. The event will be held Tuesday, September 24 at the Arcola Intermediate School, 4001 Eagleville Road, Eagleville.  Doors will open at 6:30 p.m. with a presentation at 7:00 p.m.

Residents are invited to learn about the many projects that have been completed and what’s coming in the future for Lower Providence. Before and after the presentation, attendees will have the chance to view exhibits on projects and resources in the Township.

Featured topics this year include updates on new businesses, open space, problem properties, a vision for new township buildings, emergency services, and more.

“We believe these annual open house events are a great way for residents to hear directly from the supervisors and others about projects affecting the Township,” said Board of Supervisors Chairman Peter MacFarland.

Among the exhibitors are:  Redner’s Markets; Evansburg Vineyards; W.B. Homes – Courts at Brynwood; Providence Place Senior Living; John James Audubon Museum and Discovery Center; Lower Providence police and fire departments; Montgomery County Department of Public Safety; Lower Providence Parks & Recreation; and Lower Providence Community Library.

This marks the third year the supervisors have hosted an open house event.
