Special Events

Lower Providence Township requires that a special event permit application be submitted for any person, firm or corporation to conduct a carnival, fair, circus or other exhibition or special event in Lower Providence Township.  The permit application can be found here. A fee of $125.00 is required per submission. If the special event is being sponsored by a non-profit agency, the fee will be waived.

The hours of operation for all special events are:
Monday through Friday: 10:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.
Saturday: 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m.
Sunday: 1:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
If you wish to hold a special event outside of these hours, a written waiver request must be submitted to the Board of Supervisors at least 30 days prior to the event.
 

If your event involves the selling or giving away of food, a food vendor acknowledgment form must be submitted for each food vendor. The acknowledgment form can be found here.
